We collect directly from customers their name or email, telephone, accommodation or area, dates, handover preferences and voluntary notes. Hosting may log security data such as IP, date and requests. Stripe receives payment data; Tenerife Ready does not receive the full card number.
Enquiries and booking preparation rely on pre-contractual steps. Rental, handover, return, payment and deposit rely on contract performance. Accounting and official requests rely on legal duties. Fraud prevention and security rely on a balanced legitimate interest. Google Analytics relies on consent, which can be withdrawn at any time. Booking data is not used for advertising without a separate lawful basis.
Fields marked as required are needed to process the booking and coordinate the service. Without them we cannot enter into the rental. Notes are optional and must not contain health, identity-document or card data.
Necessary providers may process data: Hostinger for hosting and email, Stripe for payments and, only after analytics consent, Google Analytics. Data may be disclosed to public authorities, courts or law enforcement where legally required. We do not sell personal data. When needed for your booking, pickup and transport partners receive only the details necessary to identify the reservation and arrange handover or return, never your card details.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Their stated safeguards apply, such as adequacy decisions —including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable— or Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures. Ask through the contact channel for information about these safeguards.
Operational data is kept through the booking and for the time needed to manage return, deposit and incidents. Contractual, accounting and supporting records are kept for six years under the Spanish Commercial Code and, where applicable, for relevant tax or claim periods; they are then erased or restricted. Incomplete bookings are reviewed for deletion within 90 days. Google Analytics data is kept for no more than 14 months and cookie preferences are renewed before 24 months.
Request access, correction, erasure, objection, restriction and portability free of charge through the contact page. We generally reply within one month and request proof of identity only where necessary. Withdraw analytics consent through “Cookie settings”. You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
We do not make automated decisions with legal effects or build commercial profiles. Measures include access controls, strong passwords, two-factor authentication where available, encrypted connections, backups and access and incident reviews.
We update this policy when processing or providers change. The current version date appears above.
If you collect at Puerto Fantasy, its authorised staff see your name, reference, dates and equipment to check handover and return. Staff record their name, time, items and any incident, and may photograph only affected equipment, not faces or documents. Tenerife Ready keeps this record as long as needed to resolve the return, deposit or a claim, with access limited to the shop and owner.
Necessary booking, handover and return notices are sent by email. The owner also receives private operational Telegram alerts limited to reference, dates, location, items and amount, with no card details. After rental we may invite you to an optional survey. Publishing your own feedback on our website requires your permission, which can be withdrawn by email. Third-party public reviews identify their source and disclose no private booking details. Service and refunds never depend on a positive review.
